Unreliable, non communicative, and even rude - I would like to dissuade anyone from contracting In and Out Movers. While seemingly helpful when we spoke to them about orchestrating our cross country move, after receiving our initial deposit and having possession of our belongings, Patrick and Richard did not make the minimal efforts to ensure that the move went smoothly. They did not communicate the weight of our shipment which resulted in the cost rising $500 and incorrectly communicated the cost of taking it up to the third floor (stating that it would be $50 when it was, in fact, $150), did not fill out the receipt of packages forms correctly resulting in our belongings arriving two weeks after projected (and causing many complications in our lives such as rearranged work trips and living without items such as kitchenware that we needed), were unresponsive to our emails then communicated incorrect (and perhaps even purposefully deceiving) information about the status and location of our belongings, ultimately acting rudely to us and blaming us for the complications in the move, and telling us that they would deliver our belongings at their convenience. Our experience with these movers was one of the worst business transactions that I have ever engaged in. Their lack of initiative caused our move to be much more complicated than necessary and, even more regrettably, communicated that they did not care about our business and, as they had possession of our belongings, we were at their mercy. In summary, our move cost nearly twice as much and two weeks longer than IN and Out Movers projected and was handled by placing the blame on us rather than trying to solve problems. I would urge anyone looking for a mover to look into other options.
