I first met Steve Nixon, the owner of A-1 Total Control Dog Training, in the spring of 1997. My wife and I had recently adopted a yellow lab mix named Sunny that was abandoned on the streets of Glassboro. Steve didn?t train Sunny; he taught my wife and me how to train Sunny. Even though it was only a five week class, Steve allowed me to continue training with him until I was comfortable with Sunny ? it wasn?t about money with Steve, it was making sure that owner was comfortable with the dog. And I really appreciate that. Sunny was my faithful companion for the next 10 years and because he was so well trained, I could talk him anywhere!\r
