What a lazy, dishonest, pos! I would rather live under a freeway overpass than do business with someone like this! What a joke!
We found a house posted for rent and called. ""Debra"" met us there in an hour. Great...except for the fact that she already had someone to rent this property which she was moving forward with. The house was in a good neighborhood, but the house itself was sort of a dump. EVERYTHING in the house needs to be replaced, but it was the neighborhood we wanted to ""test drive"" before purchasing. Being new to the area, we are at the mercy of realtors and other service ""professionals"". She kept us waiting for her calls 3 times, lied about who owned the property, and rented it with in 12 hours of sending us the application to rent it (of the 12 hours, we were asleep for about 8 of that). So for 48hrs she kept us dangling on a property she was in the process of renting to someone else. Then when I called to ask her what happened, after recieving an email that stated that ""this property has been rented"", she had her secretary lie for her. When I said that I would wait, she tried to get me off the phone again...I refused. ""Debra"" conveniently pick up with in seconds and acted as though this was our first conversation by saying: ""yes, that property has been rented"". She offered NO apology but promptly asked if that was the area we were interested in and that she could show us some other properties. When I told her that I didn't feel comfortable doing business with her, when she could have EASILY showed us those properties 3 days prior and let us know that if that rental fell through & we could be the back-up offer, SHE HUNG UP ON ME....She did all of this KNOWING we had to travel in the upcoming weeks and had a significant time issue with getting into a home. Now we are stuck not knowing the area and trying to find a home remotely. How greedy can you be?!....really?!
