We filed a claim with American Home Shield, as a part broke on the microwave oven door on our KitchenAid combo microwave oven/oven unit, causing the door to become very heavy and open much too quickly. Darrin came out the first visit and diagnosed the problem. 3 weeks later, Donnie and Darrin returned with the proper part. They took our combo unit together and replaced the part in under 30 minutes, explaining what they were doing throughout the repair, offering their take on how it happened, and even adding an improvement to the tortion springs that they had learned from additional Kitchenaid training or prior experience. Donnie and Darrin were very professional, and they completed the repair quickly and to our satisfaction. Donnie, in particular, has deep knowledge and expertise about appliance repair, and he is a great employee. Great job!
