Honestly, I've had a lot of good bbq and Salt Lick is by far the best. The sauce is amazing and every one of the meats is cooked perfectly. The atmosphere is very cool since it is BYOB and they cook all the meat on a huge open flame BBQ pit which you won't find really anywhere else. If you visit Austin and don't go to the Salt Lick, then you haven't really visited Austin. I can't wait to go back next time I'm in Austin.
