I cannot believe all the good reviews for this place. Everything here is disgustingly sweet. It's as if sugar exploded in the kitchen, and they're having customers eat the disaster. We ordered the hot and sour soup -- which was NOT hot and was more like sweet syrup than soup. I loaded it with pepper and hot sauce on the table to try and make it edible, but it was irrecoverably disgusting. Then we shared the Black Pepper Soybean and a second dish (I think it was the broccoli with soybean). Again, absolutely awful. I have never had such a bad meal in my life. Maybe the sugar is a SLC thing, but I can't imagine that anyone could like this stuff.
In sum, the worst Chinese food I've ever had and my worst vegan meal (yes, it was even worse than the time I was served dry pasta at a banquet event). But if you think that a pound of sugar is what's been missing from Chinese food for all these years, then by all means, give it a whirl.
