I dropped my laptop to fix a power issue. Was quoted $60.00 to analyze the problem and I agreed. After several days I called to check status and was told I need a new power plug and that it's $28.00 and the $60 labor fee. I agreed to the repair and was told parts had to be ordered. After 2 weeks I checked and was told it was being tested and someone would call me. No call so a few days later I called and was told it was ready. When I arrived to pick it up they had replaced the mother board for $289 and the labor was $120. When I stated I would never approve over $400 to fix a 5 year old laptop. I was told that it's on the ticket approved and that someone called me. No one ever called me. I was then told it's not their fault if I don't check my messages. No message left. They don't have time to keep calling people. They offered to remove the new part and put my old parts in it and I would have to pay the labor. Since this would mean a loss of $120 I paid for the repair. This was a classic bait and switch. The technician admitted that the cost of the power plug was $28. The man was rude and threatened to throw me out. I purposely waited until his other customer left before I made my complaint. He tried to intimidate me by taking down the license plate of my car. Don't trust the quote you get.
Cons: Sock you with higher repair cost than quoted.
