I was so excited to try these chocolate chip cookies after hearing so many rave reviews. Chocolate chip cookies are my absolute favorite food in the world, and I couldn't wait to get my hands on these. Boy was I disappointed!!! I just don't get it. These are very crispy, and they taste almost burnt. I've made countless recipes for chocolate chip cookies, and these taste just like the ones I had as a kid at school bake sales, when parents used the recipe on the back of the package, had the oven up too high, and used dark baking pans. Maybe I got a bad batch??? How could these impress so many people?
