I have had nothing but trouble at LA Fitness. I was not only pushed into signing a ""contract"", but my trainer stood me up on several occasions, which I of course had to pay for. The contract is electronic, so if the sales person doesn't show you the computer, you have no idea what you are signing, thats how they get you, by not explaining that it is a contract, so you think it is just like the membership fee, month to month! When I got a call back from someone to work everything out, he was very rude on the phone, and wasn't even listening to what I was explaining. Needless to say, I will never go back or use an LA Fitness again.
