I have been taking my dog there for the past year for an ongoing life long condtion he has. I was told to come back every 6 months for a check up. Then, everytime I call for a perscription re-fill I am told the Doctor wont refill it until my dog comes in for a checkup. Every 6 months turned into every 2 months. There are always extra charges I almost always leave a ""checkup"" spending $150+. I am beginning to feel like they are trying to squeeze money out of me. Not a good feeling. I will be going back to my previous vet. Only started going to Drake because they could get me in faster than my previous vet. While the staff is very friendly, I can't allow myself to feel like I am being taken advantage of.
Pros: Able to get appointments quickly
Cons: Always costs way more than you expect
