I had 3 visits with Dr. Roy and Dr. Roy's staff never told me that they weren't contracted with Health Advantage. When I gave them my Health Advantage card, they only charged the co-pay and then I found out later from my insurance that I had to pay the entire amount charged for all 3 visits since Dr. Roy is out of network. I realize I should have verified that Dr. Roy was contracted with Health Advantage prior to my office visits, but I also feel that his office should have notified me that he wasn't contracted with my insurance. Other than the insurance issue which is a big deal for me, he provided good medical service.
Pros: Good medical service
Cons: Is not contracted with Health Advantage
