when the sales people new they werent going to make a sale they begain to be verbally hostile. When i arrived at larry jay imports on south blvd on thursday 09/03/09 i was greeted by the sales guy he was very nice(at first) we went in did an application and then test drove a nice car. after they recieved a copy of my credit report i was approved for the car but i told them i couldnt afford a 500.00 monthly payment. so the sales guy showed me another car. i told the man before he got the other car that i have 3 kids and i needed something like a van type, that i didnt want a car he insisted on me seeing this mitsubishi Gallant It was an 07 with 35k miles it had a 60k mile warranty so that meant i had 25k miles left under the warranty. I test drove it and i liked it but this is not what i needed. when i told the guy this and he looked at me and said YOU HAVE POOR CREDIT WHAT DO YOU EXPECT!!!, very loudly. I felt so bad at this point i wanted to run to my car and never come back. as i begain to walk away he begain to plead for me to give it a try so being the nice person that i am i let him continue to talk. He finally talked me into the car the offer was 750.00 down with 349.00 a month i said ok and i drove off the lot with the car this was a thursday night i was to come back on saturday to finish the paper work. I came back on Sat with my family thinking we were going to do the paperwork and go for a drive in our new car. when i got there we had to wait about 30 min to see the sales guy, he was suckering another customer. He came to us and said that the bank said we needed to put another 1000 down on the 07 or he could give us an 08 with a better warranty. we looked at the 08 gallant and it had 52k miles i said to the man how is this a better warranty he said because it is an 08 makes it a better warranty i said well that is ok i dont want this car we are going to go home and get my car the deal is off. he said ""your not going anywhere is our car, if your not going to buy the car you cant leave with our car."" I said if i would have known this was going to happen i wouldnt have brought my family. At this point my husband was with me and he was very upset. He made a remark that one of the guys overheard and the sales guy went off. he was cussing and fussing acting like he wanted to fight. the sales manager had to hold the sales guy back from attacking my husband. i asked the sales manager to see if he could have someone give me my 2 month old my son and my husband a ride home. His response was ""I dont care how you get home."" At this point i was in tears holding my baby to calm her down, but i was crying harder than she was. The manager at this place came to me in pitty and said. ""If it were up to me i wouldnt have anything to do with you and your husband but because i know you need a car for your newborn i will let you take the 07 with just 1200 down"" I said after all this i dont think i want to do buisness with people who talk to us any kind of way. I said with your last comment do you honestly think i want to do buisness with your company. he walked away and after a few minutes sent a van to take us home. This was officially the worst day of my life. Right before we left my husband went in to apologize to the sales guy for his comment and the sales guy said "" if we were in the street i would F*** u up!!! Im done with Larry Jay Mitsubishi!!!!!!!
