I wouldn't recommend bringing your animal to a VCA in general. They run unnecessary tests and fleece you for thousands of dollars. The young vets are overworked and don't call back within reasonable times (one call was returned 8 hours after I called!) It's disconcerting there's no other emergency service around the south shore. The VCA is a corporate machine that uses 29 year old vets fresh out of medical school. I feel their vets misdiagnosed our poor cat who ended up in their ICU on and off for two weeks. They need more seasoned/experienced doctors.
Pros: Their doctors are available 24/7
Cons: Inexperienced and charge way too much.
