I’ve had my hair cut, colored, and even chemically straightened at Simply Utopia and I’ve been quite satisfied with the results. My last service was no exception however when I got home I realized I was doubled charged. An honest mistake I’m sure. My issue comes from the fact it took weeks to be reimbursed. My first attempt at contacting Michelle (the owner) was futile as she said she mailed me a check but I never received it. Weeks past. I called again to ask about it and she said she needed to talk to her bank (like, that was my problem). She never called me back. Third call to her I left a message and no return call. I finally dropped in on my own time and finally received my reimbursement. Let me add there was no apology through this whole process whatsoever, even when I faced her to pick it up. My husband and I used to own our own business and we always treated our clients with integrity and respect. They always came first. They have lost me as a client.
