Alas, forced to give one star...
Let me start by stating that she was not my agent rather the selling agent of a home I purchased. I've managed & sold property in a prior life and I have NEVER transacted business with anyone who was less professional.
She made nonsensical demands but didn't fulfill even the most basic tasks. We bent over backwards and indeed met sellers short timetable & still had to deal with idle threats from her regularly despite having a signed purchase and sale agreement.
We even had to field calls from our lender that said that she was calling to obtain information without our consent.
Meanwhile, she was negligent in even the most basic tasks (picking up/dropping off signed contracts, multiple times she provided paperwork missing so many pages it was clear she hadn't even looked at it before forwarding, never took property off the market/update MLS despite signed P&S agreement, forwarded private email b/w her and her client on to us and others, etc)
At closing, not only didn't she show up to claim her commission but she made no provisions to provide the lawyer, our agent or us the KEYS TO THE HOUSE! Our agent had to go out to her office to get us the access key to our OWN HOME.
It's a shame because RE agents are usually the filter through which transactions occur. Her behavior was so aberrant that we were sure that she was the problem and not the sellers.
Ultimately, we contacted the sellers directly and found them to be delightful, thoughtful, reasonable people. Once we cut her out of communication, we had smooth sailing and were able to bring the deal to a happy ending.
I'm confident had we relied on communications through this agent this deal would have fallen through - a shame for both us and her clients. Do yourself a favor and avoid at all costs.
