PRICING QUOTE CHANGED BY $131 OVER THE COURSE OF TREATMENT. BOOKEEPER BLAMED IT ON INSURANCE COMPANY. INSURANCE COMPANY INDICATED THAT COMPANY DID NOT USE THE CORRECT UP TO DATE SOFTWARE FOR PRICING AND THUS PRICING WOULD BE OFF BUT THE DENTIST AND HER OFFICE WOULD BE AT FAULT SINCE THE SOFTWARE WAS READILY AVAILABLE AND BEING USED BY OTHER BUSINESSES. AETNA ALSO ADVISED THAT THEIR PRICING DID NOT CHANGE THAT OFTEN. MY PRICING CHANGED 4 TIMES OVER THE COURSE OF TREATMENT IN A 3-4 MONTH PERIOD. \r \r DR. HAWKINS GAVE ME A PRINT OUT WITH ONE SET OF PRICES. \r \r A MONTH LATER BILLING TOLD ME PRICING INCREASED BY $2 AND GAVE ME A NEW PRINTOUT.\r \r AT THE END OF TREATMENT I RECEIVED AN ADDITIONAL BILL FOR $85 AND WHEN DISCUSSED WITH THE ""CASHIER/RECEPTIONIST"" WAS TOLD IT WAS IN ERROR. I THEN RECEIVED THAT $85 BILLING IN THE MAIL .\r \r SEVERAL MONTHS AFTER THE END OF TREATMENT, THE BILL CHANGED TO $129.\r \r NOW COLLECTIONS IS SAYING THE BILL IS $153.\r \r COLLECTIONS HAS ADVISED THAT I SIGNED SOMETHING AGREEING TO THAT FACT PRICING COULD CHANGE AND I HAVE ASKED THEM TO PRODUCE THE PAPER WORK. THAT WAS 3 MONTHS AGO AND TO DATE, PREMIER HAS NOT COMPLIED.\r \r I HAVE TALKED WITH THE BOOKEEPER AND THE DENTIST, DR. HAWKINS. THE DENTIST,JUST HAD THE BOOKEEPER CALL ME BACK TO ""LIE"" ABOUT THE REASON FOR THE CHARGES. SHE(DR. HAWKINS) SEEMS TO WANT TO BE REMOTE FROM THE ISSUE. IN THE MEAN TIME I HAVE LEARNED ONE OF THE FILLINGS WAS NEVER COMPLETED--IT WAS TEMPORARY. SHE FORGOT TO PUT THE PERMANENT FILLING IN AND IT HAS POPPED OUT BUT SHE HAS CHARGED AETNA AS IF THE WORK WAS COMPLETE-----GO FIGURE!!!!! \r \r I ASKED FOR MY RECORDS A MONTH AGO TO TAKE TO ANOTHER DENTIST AND ALTHOUGH THE BOOKEEPER WAS \r AGREEABLE TO DO AS LONG AS NO XRAYS WERE ASKED FOR WITHOUT A $15 PER XRAY CHARGE, I HAVE YET TO GET THEM.\r \r THE BOOKEEPER IS NOT CUSTOMER FOCUSED OR FRIENDLY. HER EYE IS ON THE BOTTOM LINE AND SHE DOES NOT CARE IF IT IS ACCURATE OR NOT. SHE SEEMS TO BE THERE SIMPLY TO DEMONSTRATE SHE CAN COLLECT MONEY NO MATTER IF IT IS ETHICAL OR ACCORDING TO BUSINESS PRACTICE.\r \r FOR THE MOST PART, THE SERVICES ARE GREAT OVERALL, JUST DO NOTHAVE A TREATMENT PLAN THAT PAST A DAY.
