The owner had complained in the local newspaper that the Cash for clunkers program was hurting his business, because fewer older cars would now need repairs and that he was losing business. So, I decided to give him some business and boy did I find out why these companies complain; they have gotten used to Northern Virginia's real estate boom. A feel-good company that charges outrageous prices and super inflates the need for repairs and part prices. Parts that the dealer charges $133 are billed for $300, a battery selling for $75 is billed at $150 and more. I got my car towed away from them when they got me so upset.
