Ok. I am on the fence with this one. I moved to Chaparral Creek because of the beautiful landscaping, the location, and the price. I was able to get a 2 bedroom with 1200+ sqft for under $1000/mo. Unfortunately, the carpet is cheap, you can hear everything through the walls, my electric bill was running me $300/mo, and the maintenance crew were not very smart. They refused to fix the cable outlet in one of the bedrooms (said I had to pay to have the cable company fix it). After 4-5 attempts, they finally gave up on fixing the master shower (it went cold after 15 minutes and black gunk would come out). One maintenance guy came out to fix my A/C on a Saturday but never came in to the apartment to make sure it was working correctly. He fixed the wrong unit! And then he had the audacity to tell me he didn't have to come back and correct his mistake because the temperature outside didn't require it. Keep in mind this place was built in the 70s when you go to rent.
On second thought, I am no longer on the fence. This place kinda sucked!
Pros: Beautifully landscaped, nice price
Cons: REALLY OLD, Noisy, Maintenance is horrible
