For locals, the default is Mountain City Mild food.
For those who like authentic Mexican food, done pretty well, ASK for Mexican Wild. They really can make good, authentic food, but only IF you are in the know and ASK for it that way.
PS I personally don't like the salsa, but that's just me. (I like more tomatoes and cilantro in mine. Try Dos Amigos in Boone instead.)
Pros: Must ask for spicy
Cons: Bland /average unless you ask
