After my laptop died, I took it in to their store because of it's convenient location around the corner from my place. Big mistake. I put the obligatory deposit down (which was higher than I expected), they kept my computer for a month (even though they said it would only take two weeks), then finally gave it back only after I asked for it back.
They told me I had a motherboard failure and that it would be best if I just bought a new computer, which they just happen to sell as well (poor quality and selection too I might add). I'm not that computer savvy, so I accepted defeat and bought a new computer (somewhere else).
After a month with my new computer, I gave my ""broken"" one to my other friend for the spare parts. He called me up a day later and told me he fixed it just by re-seating a loose memory chip.
The part that gets me the most is that they kept the pricey deposit that I gave them for the ""labor"" charges.
Never again.
Maybe they used to be good, but not anymore.
Please don't get ripped off by these guys like I did.
Cons: Yes they are.
