I searched the West Coast for a good price on a KLR650 for a cross-country motorcycle trip and a company that would help me get on the road. Kent Kawasaki had the best price, and they offered to overnight the paperwork so that I could easily register the bike in Maryland before the trip. I flew out to Seattle, and the Kent Kawasaki team even picked me up from the airport. Everything was smooth. They were very helpful in setting up the bike for a cross-country trip to all the national parks. The service people were top-notch and the attention to detail second to none. They shipped back extra gear and parts that I couldn't take with me on the trip to my home in Maryland (I was a bit overpacked). When they didn't have something immediately available, they weren't shy to point me to another shop in the area--knowing I didn't have time to wait for an ordered item. They were up-front with all the costs, including parts and labor, and I felt they gave a more than fair deal. All in all, I was aware that I was working with a great, caring team, that was interested in my experience as a customer, the quality of the goods I purchased, and my safety on the road. The service and sales personnel were helpful, knowledgeable, experienced, and professional. The owner, Tony, is reserved, polite and kind. He's forthright and a no-nonsense kind of guy. I think another reviewer here may have found that rude, but I find it refreshing in contrast to the overly-nice slimy types you find in some other shops. All in all, hats off to Kent Kawasaki.
Pros: Great staff, great prices, no nonsense.
Cons: Smaller shop.
