I went with Chuck and Start Farm due to locality, he seemed to be a good guy, and rates were in line with other carriers. However, a little over one month into my annual policy, Chuck raises my auto insurance by a whopping 30% due to ""quote error"". You can be the judge as to intent or true error here, but even if there was truly an error, he apparently wanted no accountability for it, and was sticking me with the problem. Needless to say, I switched my policy away from Chuck ASAP. I don't approve of doing business like that, and his rates were uncompetitive at that point anyway.
Pros: Rates start at competitive level
Cons: Rates will increase a month after policy initiation
