I have lived in two of Mrs. Smith's buildings from 1997-1999 and again from 2006 to present. Although she is usually pleasant to work with and does give her tenants a 10-day grace period to pay monthly rent before a fine is assessed, she offers little in the way of energy efficiency, off-street parking, modern appliances or safe, grounded wiring in her homes. Plumbing problems took a while to be fixed and pets are never allowed according to her leases.
