Cute little museum in an old firehouse, although I feel kind of expensive for what you get. It is really geared toward children no older than 7. Adults have to pay $6 to enter as well. I don't understand that as there is nothing an adult can do to enjoy oneself like at the aquarium or another family activity. There are 3 floors, the top floor seems to be the most fun with dressing in fireman gear, playing postman, playing in the cooking section, coloring in the arts and crafts area and playing in the Dr.'s office. The downstairs area has dress up, puppet area, a train, a fireman pole, lots of fun for small children. The basement area is interesting with building materials and educational engineering type things. The place is a bit OLD and needs to be updated and toys need to be cleaned and/or replaced! Also, nobody seems to be actually monitoring anything there. Ex: The arts and crafts area clearly ran out of paper and supplies and nobody was there to replace them or even help the children with their crafts. Parents do all the work, so why should they pay to get in? Nice to go if you have nothing better to do and are close by, but you are much better off planning a visit to the Providence Childrens Museum which is only $1.50 more per person and you get so much more. Also, the Providence Childrens Museum offers free passes from the library. The Easton Childrens Museum used to offer free entrance passes at the library but now they are only half off. Pros: Small Cons: Can get crowded, adults pay as well more
