I remember back when Hayward Tool was over on Mission Blvd. He started out like a Post Tool full of junk china tools. He still has a lot of that. The problem is that everyone who enters the store is treated like a shop lifter. The owner, his wife and daughter work there. I brought a power tool in to be fixed one day. After two weeks I came back to see if it was finished. I did not have the receipt on me. So the wife says NO RECEIPT NO TOOL!!! I said if I lost the receipt I can never get my tool back. She replies NO RECEIPT NO TOOL UGH!!! The tool and receipt have my name on them and I had ID. I said give me back my tool or I am walking out of here with a new tool. So she screeches for her husband to come, all 5? 4? of him. He says ?you get out store no come back, no come back.? I told him what I thought his wife was and restated I was leaving with my tool or a his new tool. I left with my tool. Everything is dramatically overpriced and no customer is valued. I had been spending $1000 every year since the beginning. I only hope this depression gets him so he can stay at home and listen to his wife.
Pros: excellant tool selection
Cons: overpriced with attitude
