We used Aron movers to move from a condo to a house approx. 6 miles away. The movers managed to destroy over 1,000 worth of our belongings. These were belongings that I have moved numerous times without incident. I had 7 margarita glasses that are so strong they can be dropped on kitchen floor w/o breaking - they managed to not only break them, but smash all 7 of them beyond recognition. Furthermore, they left cigarette butts in our yard at both locations and my boyfriend did witness one mover throwing a box. One of the movers was fairly rude as well. The things which were broken had been packed EXTREMELY well, and nothing I have moved before, or that we moved ourselves, has been ever damaged. To add insult to injury, they came out to assess the damages, and were rude and uncaring. Not even an apology or some sympathy. They sent us a check for 75.00 to settle the claim, which is not even 1/10th of the damages. Apparently, since we did not use their packing company and they did not see denting or crushing on boxes (which there was) they do not feel they are at all responsible. Let me add that almost all of the items broken were one of a kind, irreplaceable pieces. They also broke a lamp, broke a drawer and tried to hide it underneath other things, and nicked some wooden bookcases. I have NEVER been so displeased with a service in my life. I hope that others who read this review are dissuaded from using this company, because I would hate to see other people lose belongings they care about.
