Overnight Boarding WITHOUT our Permission 8/12/2009

We have a four month old puppy who visited three days at Camp Canine, over the course of two weeks. The first two visits were fine. Howevever, the third visit resulted with our dog unnecessarily spending the night in a crate. \r \r On the Camp Canine website and in our discussions with the people at the front desk, we were told last pickup is at 9pm. My fiance went to pick up our dog last night at 8:35pm and found an employee locking up. My fiance asked if they were closed; when he was told that it was, he asked if he could get our dog. The employee walked away. Our puppy was stuck inside. \r \r I called and spoke with a cleaning person who said that he was the only person there and that there was no emergency contact. I left a voicemail and an email and received no response. Camp Canine did not call us to ask if we would require boarding for that evening. I've seen that employee that walked away during the three times that we brought our puppy; there was no reason for him to walk away.\r \r Our four month old puppy spent over 10 hours in a crate without our permission. Camp Canine does not offer any emergency contact or response. This has been gross negligence on the account of Camp Canine.\r \r BE CAREFUL! more
