I found this place around Easter just by chance. At first I thought it was Colombian, which I just adore since I lived there. I came in not knowing what to expect. It looks like a tiny hole in the wall from the outside. I shouls mention this place is Venezuelan place, but the first thing I noticed were the immaculately bright colored walls and warm, home-like decor on the walls. I ordered the pabellon arepa, which includes shreaded beef, black beans, mozzarella cheese, and sweet plantains sandwich style. It was excellent and very filling. The other items I recommend are the sangria, both red and white, which is sweet and strong with tons of apples, oranges, and grapes poured into a large glass. The fruit juices and smoothies are awesome. Try the mora, a South American blackberry that is tangy sweet-tart and the pineapple, which is always a winner. You get a bowl of plantain chips (they are fried platains that are cut thinly and dried) that are served with garlic olive oil sauce and taste like Pringle's. I live in the Bronx and I look forward to coming back. Try it!
