This is Mississippi Studios version 3.0 for which the entire lot was taken over by the performance space and a new front area with full bar was added. The space maintains intimacy while expanding capacity so more people can attend shows. The booking, by Alicia Rose (formerly Doug Fir), maintains some of the old Miss Studios style while adding more rock acts. Overall if you want to go to a show to listen to music in an intimate setting this is the best venue in town. I still miss the rootsy and much smaller feel of MS 2.0, but I have a feeling this will grow on me.
