I recently took my pet to Dr. Rogers--diagnosis: pancreatitis. I was charged $43 for the phone call he made to give me the lab results in addition to the $710 for 2 days of IV and the lab test. I never saw the vet again over those 2 days only the "technicians" translated...kids who give you conflicting information about your pet's care. When we went back for the initial IV, the technicians put the line in and told me to put her on the exam table and keep her calm for the next 4 hours. She was of course trying to jump off the table and pull the line out. I said, "You've got to be kidding. You expect me to stand here for 4 hours like this." The reply from the tech was, "It depends on your dog." I could go on with similar stories of our 2 day ordeal but I think you get the picture.
