I have been taking my dog to Strawbridge for almost 10 years. While the owners have changed, the quality of care for my dog has continued to be very good. For quality of service, I would give Strawbridge 5 stars. However, I have started to feel that the billing is taking advantage of the fact that I am a conscientious dog owner. No matter how long or short, major or minor my visit, I seem to walk out with a very high bill. For example, on my most recent visit, I was given a few medications for my dog; I compared the prices to an online source and realized there was a HUGE difference between them. They tend to have you pay your bill first, then they give you the breakdown after your payment. For future visits, I will review the breakdown first and, depending upon the medication prices, ask for a prescription so it may be filled elsewhere, far cheaper.
Pros: Pets receive good care
Cons: Billing charges seem very high
