My first appointment was with Dr. Wendel. He was fabulous and calmed my nerves about all of my first pregnancy fears. My next appointment was originally with Dr. Javaid. During the time between my first and second appointments, Dr. Javaid left for maternity leave. It appeared that the office was unprepared for her leave, and this caused my next appointment to be pushed 2 weeks later than the typical schedule. My second appointment was finally confirmed with Dr. Cirasole. Before Dr. Cirasole entered the exam room, my husband and I waited for more than 30 minutes. She quickly moved through my appointment and repeated something similar to- you're healthy, you don't have any questions. This was unsettling to me, but I decided to give the office one more try. My third visit with Dr. Roberts was wonderful. After my appointment, Dr. Roberts directed me to the lab for testing. My visit with Dr. Roberts was at 4:30, so by the time I left the exam room, it was 5. The woman in the lab unkindly refused to do my test at 5 and stated that it would not be finished until 5:30. By refusing to complete my lab at 5, I had to re-arrange another entire day of my work calendar to return to Mt. Auburn for my lab work. My disppointment at the end of my third visit prompted me to find a different group. I am much happier with my care and treatment at the new facility. My new physicians made it a priority to get me back on the proper track for 4 week appointments. They also performed additional tests, which Mt. Auburn did not excute in the proper amount of time.
Pros: Close location to my home
Cons: Long waits, not-so kind staff, and poor lab work
