We bought an expensive ($1000.00 +) and were told how excellent it was. When we got it home it felt like a hammock in less than a week. Since it is being used in a summer camp, and only used occasionally, we did not contact Main Mattress in their 30 day exchange period. When we did contact them we were told that they would do nothing for us. I the contacted AMEX and they started an enquiry. At this point the owner called us. Were then able to make a deal where they would take back the mattress if purchased a more expensive mattress. We then agreed to purchase a very expensive mattress ($2000.00 +). It was to include matching pillows, since Maine Mattress was a couple of hundred dollars more than other stores. When we picked up the new mattress he would only take a bank check. They promised to credit our AMEX when the check cleared. I had to call and then go in to get our credit. They would not give us the pillows. Pros: dosen't matter Cons: Won't keep promises’ more
