My Mom is Italian so I am used to very good Italian food.\r
After a very long wait in a very uncrowded restuarant, I finally ordered a Greek salad and a senior special, rigatoni with It. sausage. After another lengthy wait the alleged Greek salad arrived. Wilted lettuce old red onions some old dry squash pieces and Italian gloppy dressing. There were no cucumbers, black olives and the feta cheese was tasteless. This salad was about as Greek as I am. When I asked about the lack of olives the waitress went to the bar and got me green martini olives - clueless.\r
Then finally the entree' arrived, oh my the pasta was way overdone and falling apart, the red sauce was seperating between water and marinara, tasty but old. The sausage was not home made and the pasta was falling apart.\r
One piece of the bread was as hard as a rock but the other two were smooth and soft, but alas - no butter, and no cheese either for my pasta. In fact the only item on the table was a pepper shaker. I had to get my own salt and was never offered more water or ice.\r
I was flabbergasted, and when I asked for two filled chocolate canolis, I got two almond cookies.\r
So if this is a four (4) star Italian restuarant in the Denver area, I must have been there on the worst day in their history. Or just maybe their quality control was off that day. \r
Fool me once...............
Pros: one of the breads
Cons: everything else
