3rd, 2009, Ivan from Pride Installation spent 45 minutes in my home informing on how to use my washer, which I have been using for 6 years, leaves stating the only problem is over “suds” do to the detergent I buy. He asked for a check in the amount of $95 when the service charge was quoted at $sixy nine. After he left, I cycled the washer without detergent only for it to leek all over the floor once again. Then I call the Pride office to be informed that Ivan had gone home (2pm) and refused to come back out and that I would need to schedule a new appointment. I had already taken the day off from work and wanted someone back to diagnose the washer correctly. After being told it was unlikely that someone else would be back out. At 5pm I headed off to the kids swim when the cellular phone rang. It was my house guest telling me there was a man at the door to look at the washer. He found the leek and asked for tape to patch the hole while stating it could take from 4 days to a month to receive the replacement drain hose from LG. That was the last information I had receive until today July 3rd, 2009. The phone rang and it was Pride Installation and they promptly put me on hold after I answered the phone (Being placed on hold has been their standard practice from the first time I called them for service). After a long hold I was informed that hose was in and that they were not available on July 4th weekend and they would be out between 8am and Noon the following Monday, unless the technician had something else planned and if he did, we would be contacted…. \r

For some reason I agreed and hung up. Then I though, what were they going to charge me for the hose and who knows what next for so called service charges?! So, I called back to ask. The response was “didn’t he tell you?” I said no. Then I asked how much, and that is when the real run around started. Would you think they would have a price for the parts and the time required to install the hose, therefore able to quote you the cost? No, I was told nothing of the sort and then received some fast talk about what he should have done and what they were going to do over the phone by the owner’s wife/phone person. I never was informed of a dollar amount or offered a good faith estimate. \r
Cons: Left with leeky washer
