My washing machine had given up spinning. The guys at Johnson Appliance offered to come out the same afternoon, and told me their reasonable service call fee up front. They came, made a small repair, and I was good to go in a few minutes. Except that I had to run to an ATM, because they don't take credit cards or checks.
