I called North Valley Vet and was told it was ok to bring my puppy in. I could not get to my normal vet before they closed. North Valley was closer to my home. I brought my pup in. We waited for 20 mins to be put in a room. While I was in the room Dr. Baggett came to the front desk and proceeded to complain about having to see me, you see he had plans, and said a few more rude and derogatory things about me, while my husband and children were sitting within earshot. As soon as he came inot the office he made clear that he was not happy to see us. He was rude! It was apalling the way he acted. I called and asked if I could come there, I did not just walk in and expect them to see us. He wanted me to leave the pup overnight, they have nobody there at night to monitor the animals. I was not comfortable with this, I thought it better to keep her so if she needed help during the night we could take her to the emergency vet. He then proceeded to tell the staff to charge me an extra $20 because I would not let him help, he did not offer any help. He said he did not have time to deal with it then because he had a previous engagement, he wanted to put it off till morning?! What an awful Doctor, and unproffessional! My vet called as we were leaving and offered me more help in a 3 minute phone call than Dr. Baggett did in 10 minutes!
