Went to Ran Zan with high expectations, and was very disappointed. First, they forgot about our table, no water, no menu for 15 minutes. Then the order took forever, finally took it to go since kids with us were acting up. Waitstaff (or singular waitress) was very unapologetic. It seemed like they had they were very partial and chatty with the regulars at the expense of newcomers. Will not be going there again. Rather go to Haruki East even thought it is slightly more expensive.
Food was ok, nothing spectacular. Roe was good.
