I have kind of mixed feelings about Beehive. I've been there quite a few times before. I've had probably the best haircut ever and color from them. I was SO excited with the outcome. It really just depends on what stylist you get. The salon itself is very funky and modern-hip, as are its stylists. I would not call it ""upscale"" sleek, or trendy by any means though. It's also very cluttered and dirty. But again, I loved my cut. On the other hand, my eyebrow waxes there have been so-so. I think they've done a great job, but the gal they always stick me with is a smoker. She will lean over me and breathe right in my face and I started gagging last time because I was breathing in nicotine and it was disgusting. I did not ask for that! I could not leave fast enough. This has happened several times. I have no respect for people like that. I don't think she realizes how unprofessional and gross that is. One good thing though, one time when I went for a brow wax the nice girl I had took me next door and re-did my makeup for free since I was going out afterward. I thought that was very sweet and thoughtful. Their prices are fair enough, but I still have mixed feelings about the place. It's probably 3rd or 4th on my list of places if I can't get in somewhere better.
