My husband and I hear the Spring Chicken Inn is a good place to eat so we decided to give it a try. This place is a RIP OFF. First of all their fried chicken doesn't taste very good and its overly greasy like a grease sponge. Second there is not flavoring or taste to the chicken batter. The wait to get a table took a half hour and no one was really in the restaurant. After we were seated we were told that it takes about a half hour to cook the chicken. What? Why... there weren't a lot of people there. My husband and I shared a ""white"" chicken platter because ordering two white chicken dinners would have cost an arm and a leg. The dark chicken is much cheaper but still pricey. The restaurant is dirty, old and needs updating. I would recommend getting fried chicken from somewhere else - even KFC is much better. Do not eat here.
