I ordered ballroom dance shoes for my husband for a professional dance competition in June. We paid for two day shipping as we needed them by Thursday. We received one pair of shoes we ordered with a note stating the other would arrive next week and were backordered. I called Dance4Less stating that we needed these shoes by the next day and asked why we were not told ahead of time that the shoes were backordered in order to give us the ability to order from another store. They stated that they could send the shoes out to the hotel for the next day. A much less expensive and lesser quality pair of shoes came to the house the next day and we nearly missed them. My husband had no choice but to wear these for his competition. After wearing them one time the heel came unglued. He had to continue wearing them for his professional competition the following evening and was nervous that he was going to trip the entire time. He did not wear them again. I waited for the original pair of shoes that I ordered and was charged for and they never came. I called the company, explained the situation, stating that I was sent a lesser quality shoe that had fallen apart the first time my husband wore them, which we had not ordered or asked to be sent. He had no choice but to wear them. I was told to return them with a note explaining that they were defective and that the original pair of shoes I had ordered and was still charged for would then be sent. I paid to ship them priority as requested and called to confirm their receipt in a couple of days. A different man answered the phone and became extremely belligerent, stating that these shoes had been worn and could not be refunded. I tried many times to explain to him the entire story and that I had been directed to send them back,and that my card was still charged $100 for a pair of shoes we ordered and never received. He never allowed me to get that far. He was actually screaming at me, would not let me speak and hung up the phone. I called back multiple times and no one answered the phone. Not only is their quality of their products extremely poor, they are insulting and abusive. Protect yourself from this deplorable company.
