My husband and I read the reviews on zagat and with a 27 for food, how could you miss???
We were put off from the moment we called and when we inquired about making a reservation the woman that answered said she was quite full for the evening followed by asking how many we were and what time we were looking to dine. We ended up getting the reservation.
The wine we were served was lovely and the bread basket was really incredible - the charm stopped there. My husband order halibut (I believe) and it looked like the filet-o-fish you get at McDonald's. I ordered their version of a philly cheese steak - the steak tasted like it had been sitting around for days and there was absolutely NO flavor and adding salt can't help this combination. We both took two bites of our food and pushed our plates away because we were so repulsed. The waiter never stopped by to see how we were doing instead the bus boy took our plates. Based on where we were sitting in the restaurant, I could see that the bus boy pointed out that he took away full plates of food to both the waiter and the restaurant owner and still no one came by. We ended up asking the bus boy for the check which he processed because it was obvious that the waiter and owner wanted to avoid the whole situation.
Avoid this place and if you want "fine dining," keep going.
