a bad economy is all excuse the lighting showroom needed to let customer service go right out the window. i tried purchasing a lamp from this company, left a down payment and was given an estimated time of arrival. after waiting weeks beyond the supposed time of arrival, i called to find where my lamp was. i left 3 messages and talked to 2 clerks before being called back. when i finally spoke to the store owner, doug, i was given a long story about how the vendor is the problem. he assured me that the situation had been resolved and that my lamp would arrive shortly. weeks & several unreturned phone calls later, the lamp still hadn't arrived. when i personally went down to the store to speak with the owner face to face, i was told, "hey, buddy, it's just a lamp." a ridiculous attitude, seeing that their job is to sell lamps. after an additional 20 minutes of excuses, the owner assured me that he would call me in the morning the next day, knowing when i would get my lamp. again, no call & i had to track the owner down. when finally reaching the owner, i was met with a snide attitude. he was apparently angry that i was asking him to do his job - provide me the product for which i had paid. i was told he doesn't have time to speak to me. after being dismissed as a customer, i asked him to return my deposit on the lamp. i strongly recommend that NO ONE do business with this store. they have deplorable customer service and they have nothing you can't get online for much less hassle.
