We sent our Ray Vac in to be fixed. The guy said that it would cost $200. I told him that was my upper limit. When he called to say it was done, he said the bill was $400 ... for a Ray Vac! ... because it is no longer in production, and parts are expensive. So, we went to pick it up, and the price then was $450 + tax, which ended up being $495 ... a long way from the original $200. He replaced parts that were still working, and put a connector on it for a Polaris, NOT a Ray Vac, so that it won't connect to the wall of our pool. Mrs. Lee would only agree to taking off enough of the replaced parts to bring the cost back down to $200 and sending someone out next week to connect it to the pool for us, while not guaranteeing that it would even work, now.
We've been customers for over 10 years, as BAPS built our pool. We'll be going elsewhere, now. Her employees lie to her, and she believes them.
Cons: Liar, liar, pants on fire!
