I have visited this store only a few times and I think that is the way it is going to stay. The first time my husband & I were there, we were completely ignored. I don't want to say it has anything to do with color, but one can't help think that if everyone else is tended to but us. So, we just left. Then, the second time I visited the store, it was almost closing and I bought the Sidi cycling shoes. I asked the salesperson if I could return these, as they were on sale and he said YES! So, I bought them, went home, tried them and it turned out to be larger than what I needed. So, the next day I went back to the store to return the shoes. As usual, one sales person attending another person just ignored me. She could have said, I'll be with you in a moment or something. Finally, someone came along and I think it might have been the owner (an oldish lady). She asked me the reason and I said, they were the wrong size. She asked me if I had not tried them before buying. I said no because you guys were closing and she says, you see we usually don't take back things that are on sale. I told her that I had confirmed this with the salesperson before buying and he said otherwise. She added by saying, I thought someone else bought it for you, maybe? How stupid are you? I am returning it on my credit card, how could someone else have bought it for me? Du-uh!
Anyway, that transaction done, I am sure that I would never return to this store again. When you are colored, you have a gut feeling about people's reactions to you. And I am not the sort to over-read into things. But this time, I am sure my color was too pretty to ignore. Furthermore, all aside, I would not recommend this store because there are plenty more. I have decided that stores like these sell things cheap for a reason and it is because they are cheap in character and class.
I would spend the money any day and visit Sammamish Valley Cycles or Veloce Velo or Gregg's or even Performance, they are all so much nicer, not to mention more educated on the matters of customer satisfaction.
Pros: Nothing I can think of.
Cons: It's mere existence.
