I bought my dress from Affordable Elegance. Overall the process was wonderful. But then we had several fittings for the alterations and I thought we finally got it right. Day of wedding - 30 minutes until pictures - we go to put my dress on and there is no eye hook for the top of the dress. Of course we don't have one ""handy"" - so we have to go without it! Also the alterations were not correct - my dress fit me horribly. I decided not to let it ruin my day and I went with it. I'm still unhappy with a lot of the pictures though. When I sent an email to let them know about the problem - they just ignored it. So that's why I decided to let everyone else know about it. A simple response even just acknowledging the problem would have helped. And now my pleasant experience at the beginning of the process is now remembered for the bad alterations at the end. Ignoring your customers is bad business in my eyes. BEWARE!
