After doing a move that was 10 miles,I was told that i had driven 70 miles.After about 10 min on the computer the manager informs me i went 29 miles.I asked how do you figure when my destination was 5 miles away and 5 miles back, then I was told how do I know were you been you have had the truck since 7 am.I replied that I picked up the truck at 9 am which was the time of my reservation,this she knows because she was there at the counter and I know they were not that busy to remember.I informed them that they were wrong and was told that no, that in fact I was wrong.I had used this company a few times and was very happy with the service,but when I was told that I could be lying,that pretty much was the last straw.The manager was wrong about about the 70 miles,and was wrong about the time I picked up the truck so it seems to reason that she was problably wrong about the 29 miles as well.Yes I admit I should of checked the odometer before leaving the buisness,but having no problems with this before I had no reason to believe that she and her co workers were not able to correctly record the milage on their trucks.Needless to say I will not be using this company again,nor will I refer any busness to this company.Its not about the 20 dollars I was still over charged,its the principle of the matter that they were in fact wrong and would not own up.So I hope that the scene that was caused for the 5 customers behind me in line was worth the 20 dollars and the loss of any further buisness that I will not be bringing there.I mentioned to the manager that we could take a lie detector test to see who was the one who was lying,she told me in a snide way to have a nice day.So if you do choose to use this company just make sure you check the the odometer reading so they cant over charge you.I am generaly a gentle soul,but dont urinate on my back and tell me it is raining...dont you know that the customer is always right and in this case...I was! It is unfortunate for both parties,they lost a good customer,and I lost a service that i was happy with. more
