The Inn Zone was my favorite local bar to drink at. That is until a late-night bartender, Mike I think, made a few rude comments to my boyfriend and I. First, my boyfriend put a $20 in the video poker machine so the bartender comp'd his beer. OK, cool - right? No. My boyfriend started gabbin on with a friend (like usual) and not even five minutes later the bartender came over and said ""if you want that beer for free then you have to play."" REALLY!? So, we played.. And we won :) We used some of our winnings to play the jukebox. Now, my boyfriend likes heavy metal and I understand if one cannot appreciate the art of ""heavy metal"" as nor do I. However, I do put up with it for his sake. Apparently, the barteneder did not feel the same. After one song the bartender came over and told my boyfriend that he was going to turn it off. His justification was there were ""big gamers"" on the other side of the bar that didn't like heavy metal. EXCUSE ME!? I didn't know that we were playing at the high limits table at the Bellagio or I would have ordered for more free drinks. The friend that my boyfriend first started talking to asked what all the fuss was about. My boyfriend explained to him that the ""high rollers"" didn't like his music so the bartender wanted to turn it off. He was not complaining, just telling the friend what was going on. Just then, we heard a rude commment from the other end of the bar, ""I don't need any smart a$s comments from you"" said the bartender. WHAT!?! REALLY? We left soon after purely because of the bartender's attitude. I was ready to get drunk that night too! They could have gotten an easy $50-$75 out of me, but no. Instead, the Inn Zone at St. Rose & Eastern lost a few customers.
Pros: Cheap Drinks
Cons: The place smells & the bartender is rude
