We were looking at adopting a small dog from one of their foster homes and thought we had it all set up to meet him then adopt him. After sending an e-mail to see if we could have him checked out by our own vet first, we get back a nasty e-mail from the foster parent. This e-mail says that their organization doesn't allow that, which makes us think there's something wrong with the dog that they're trying to hide. However this foster parent decides that she's going to bring the dog to the adoption event the next day and low and behold, the adorable dog is adopted. She didn't even have the decency to e-mail us to tell us he was adopted, saw it on the site. Hopes and heart crushed. Maybe it was just the one foster parent, which hopefully it was, but horribly handled. What a rude woman too!
