I read the reviews of other pet owners and think that some of them must be posting on the wrong site. Dr. Pavel has been our vet for over 20 years, while the receptionists have sometimes been a little rude I have never had bad service there. Dr. Pavel won't try to talk you into saving an animal that does not have a good quality of life in front of it and he won't tack on needless procedures or medications. He calls our pets "babies" and that is the way he treats them, as loving and loved members of our family. The 3 times he has been involved in us losing a pet he has always sent a very warm sympathy card because he knows how much it hurts to lose a loved one. I have never been charged more than I was quoted and have sometimes paid less. They are generally less expensive than other vets but there services are basic, no high tech anything just good people who care about the health and welfare of animals.
